Dr Ben Sim

Dr Ben Sim is an Australian and UK trained Ophthalmologist practicing full time exclusively in the Hunter/ Newcastle Region. He is a consultant Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at the John Hunter Hospital and Kurri Kurri District Hospital and also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle. He is most passionate about understanding the delivery of eyecare around the world. He has worked, volunteered and observed eyecare delivery in 6 continents and just under 30 different countries around the world in both developed and developing countries.
